World Tarantella is the new project by Giuliano Gabriele and his group. World Tarantella is like a journey into South Italy traditional music. It starts from the genuine rhythm of Tarantella and explores new way of world music. A fantastic occasion to listen, in a different way, traditional Tarantella melodies played by a great musician as Giuliano Gabriele.

BiographyWorld Tarantella project is like a journey into South Italy traditional music. It starts from the genuine rhythm of Tarantella and explores new way of world music.
Mixing old and modern sounds, the musical contamination invents original compositions and arrangements, based on southern sounds and north-Europe harmonies. The project has been invented by Giuliano Gabriele a young Italian and French artist. In the performance Giuliano Gabriele has different roles: voice, accordion, bagpipe and tambourine. His tours were in Italy and all around Europe and during his career he collaborated with several international folk artists. The others artists involved in this project are: Lucia Cremonesi: viola, violin Diego Micheli: bass guitar, double bass Eduardo Vessella: percussion Gianmarco Gabriele: drum set Michele Bucciarelli: classical and acoustic guitar |
