The band has just published its fourth album, produced, as the three previous CDs, by the prestigious italian label FolkClub Ethnosuoni (Maurizio Martinotti and Ciapa Rusa, Enzo Avitabile, La Lionetta, Paul James, etc.), where the lead singer Gianni Principe, using the particular local dialect, tells of characters, stories and places of the past and present. Sancto Ianne has played in several, important festivals in Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Uzbekistan (Samarkand) always having much recognition from critics thanks to its great ability to engage the audience. |
